Evening Snapshot
A quick way to notice what actually happened during your evening.
You are not trying to fix anything yet. You are simply paying attention to your real evening so you can begin noticing useful patterns.
1. How much Mental Battery™ did I feel like I had?
2. What responsibilities were competing for my attention?
Write down what was pulling at your attention. Short words or phrases are enough.
3. What did I actually choose to do?
Write what you actually did. You do not need to explain or judge the choice.
4. How did I feel afterward?
5. What pattern am I beginning to notice?
Write the first useful thing you notice about how your evening unfolded.
Don’t Fix It Yet
You do not need to figure out why everything happened.
You do not need to make a better plan.
You do not need to change your Mental Battery.
For now: Observe.
You are learning what actually happens during your evenings before trying to change it.
If Tonight Feels Especially Hard
Make the Evening Snapshot smaller.
- Estimate your Mental Battery™.
- Write one responsibility competing for your attention.
- Write one pattern you notice.
- Done.
That counts.
Maybe the answer isn’t simply trying harder.
The interactive version adds only usability features. It does not add new curriculum, scoring, or planning.
